The Chairperson of the Laws Commission, Klotilda Bushka, on the situation within the Democratic Party.

She considered the situation chaotic and said that others cannot intervene to resolve the situation.

Bushka in an interview said that all the chaos affects the work in the Assembly.

As for the head of the DP parliamentary group, she sees the regulation as a point of reference for the solution, and if it is not solved through this, the solution remains with the court.

Excerpts from the interview:

Bushka:  Regarding the DP's internal issues, they are entirely internal. Procedurally, the Assembly works with its own regulations. The situation with DP deputies is a bit challenging, unprecedented and chaotic. As a rule, they should choose it themselves since they have the group rules. They can't wait for us to come in and solve their problems. All the chaos affects the work in the Assembly. The Parliament does not have any competence to resolve the conflict. The Speaker of the Assembly said that she can ask for the opinion, but opinions and not decisions remain.

Journalist: Who do you see as the head of the DP Parliamentary Group?

Bushka:  I would be reserved to give an opinion, since speaking like a lawyer is not suitable for me, in the position I currently hold. As a politician, I would say that the regulation is the basis for clarifying this issue, that I don't want to call it a conflict. It can also be taken to Court, as it is an option./ CNA
