The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Israel, Meri Kumbe, spoke from the Tel Aviv airport about the situation there.

She says that there is maximum attention for our citizens, for the employees and family members of the embassy, ??as well as for citizens from Kosovo, Montenegro or North Macedonia.

It assures Albanian citizens and their families that, under the direction of our Foreign Ministry and the Israeli authorities, all procedures are being followed for their safety, during their stay and departure to Albania.

"I am Meri Kumbe, the ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Israel and I am currently at the Tel Aviv airport.

For 48 hours, I have been in contact with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Mr. Hasani and through the Ministry and the staff of the embassy we are in contact with Albanian citizens who live and work in Israel to help them leave the country.

By order of the minister, there is maximum attention for our citizens, for employees and family members of the embassy, ??as well as for citizens from Kosovo, Montenegro or North Macedonia.

These are difficult hours for us here in Israel, but on behalf of the Albanian government, I guarantee the Albanian citizens and their families, that under the direction of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli authorities, all procedures are being followed for their safety, during their stay and departure to Albania .”, says Kumbe.
