The Prime Minister, Edi Rama during his speech at the Diaspora Summit said that among the most impressive moments he has experienced is the visit to Arbëresh.

He even said that this visit has remained on a special memory shelf.

Rama says that it was precisely that visit where the idea of ??an institutional cooperation was born to build a process walking hand in hand in function of a structured support that the Albanian state should give to this treasure.

"Brothers and sisters from the arboretum, it is a privilege to address the great-grandchildren of Skanderbeg in the language of Skanderbeg on this day that unites Albania with the Albanians. I have experienced many things because of the task I have, but among many different attractive, beautiful, impressive cultures, the emotion of visiting Arbëresh has remained in a special shelf of my memory. I have indelible impressions of the small square of the first town where we landed, the waves and the songs of the children of the arboretum, the old men of that town who stood on the balconies and watched us. There was born the idea of ??this special Arbëresh day and for the first time Arbëria and Arbëresh people are not a presence to complete a folklore panorama nor to decorate this summit with their clothes but are present through their representation and this effort common to place a stone on a path that we must continue together.
