Starting Wednesday evening, there will be a drop in temperatures. Meteorology Lajda Porja informs that on Thursday there will be intense rain showers in the western lowlands almost throughout the day.

"Today, even though the temperature is 19 degrees, the clouds are present and there is rain. However, tonight in the evening we expect the development of clouds, we will have rains that will start in the north, northwest, and will gradually cover the entire territory. "Thursday will even rain heavily, torrentially, even in the western lowlands, almost the whole day," said Porja to "Euronews Albania".

As for the temperatures, there will be a drastic drop in them, which will reach up to -5 degrees, where there will be snowfall in the mountainous areas. 

"Thursday evening and Friday will have a drop in temperatures and in the morning this will bring snowfall in the mountainous areas. On Friday, we will have a drop, causing the weekend to have -5, -6 degrees Celsius in the northeastern areas, and the maximum from 19 today will be no more than 12 degrees," said Porja.

According to the meteorologist, the wind will go up to 80 km per hour, in the open sea./ CNA
