The date is set when the Assembly votes on SPAK's request for the arrest of Sali Berisha

The Assembly of Albania will vote on December 18 for granting authorization for the arrest/revocation of the freedom of MP Sali Berisha.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, set this date to convene the Council of Mandates and Regulations to review the SPAK letter for Sali Berisha.

In a press release of the Assembly it is emphasized that: The meeting of the Council for Regulation, Mandates and Immunity for the consideration of the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime for the authorization by the Assembly for the arrest/deprivation of the freedom of MP Sali Berisha, through the replacement of the security measure, will take place on 18.12.2023, at 12.00, in the Presidency of the Assembly./ CNA
