Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has commented on the news circulating in the media that former MP Monika Kryemadhi's assets have been seized.
Berisha said that they are all persecution of the opposition by Prime Minister Edi Rama, as it is unconstitutional for someone's correspondence to be seized without permission.
According to Berisha, for the control of the apartment and correspondence, permission must be obtained from the parliament.
The former prime minister also rejected suspicions that there is a breakdown in relations between the DP and PL, which he denied in his statement to the media.
"That all these are persecution of the opposition by Rama. How correspondence can be seized and searched without permission is unconstitutional.
For the control of the apartment and the correspondence, they have to get permission from the parliament.
It is a process of political persecution against the opposition and the opposition will remain. There is no cold," said Berisha./ CNA
