Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared with the public some images from the works for the reconstruction of the Lead Mosque.

Through a post on social networks, Rama writes that with its reconstruction, the Lead Mosque will become the temple not only of believers, but also of Shkodra, as another attractive tourist destination.

Located in Shkodër, this mosque is included among the 50 most beautiful Muslim buildings in the world.

It is ranked 37th before the Vahsiz Khan Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan and behind the Jami Ul Alfar Mosque in Sri Lanka. The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey is ranked 31st, while ten places behind the Albanian mosque is the Great Mosque in Paris./CNA.al
