Rama challenges the Greek authorities/ "I can't wait to meet, on May

A few days ago, the well-known Greek media "Kathimerini" wrote in an article that the Greek authorities have asked Prime Minister Edi Rama to postpone his visit to Greece.

The article points out that the Greek authorities have canceled the previously granted permission to hold the meeting in the "Gallatsi" Olympic hall, because other activities are also held there, and have suggested to Rama to postpone the meeting after June 9.

However, the prime minister has not obeyed the authorities, stating that he will be in Athens on May 12.

May 12 actually coincides with the arrest of Freddy Beler, the elected mayor of Himara, who was put in handcuffs for vote-buying.

Since then, official Athens has demanded Beler's release and warned that this case could affect relations between the two neighboring countries./ CNA
