The army forces have left for Shkodër after the request from the National Agency of Civil Protection to join together to provide their assistance in the operation of the police, RENEA and FNSH to find three dead bodies that are suspected to have drowned in the Buna river, the mother Alma Arrazi and her two children.

The third dead body, the 9-year-old girl, was accidentally found by a fisherman yesterday. 

The official request was made by the head of the AKMC for the north, Besnik Hysaj, in the direction of the FA, and it is expected that the army forces will be present in this operation.

Searches for the bodies are continuing intensively in the Drin and Buna rivers.

Yesterday evening, there were discharges from the Vau Deja hydropower plant, which muddied the water, making it more difficult to find the other three bodies.

Arrazi is suspected to have committed the serious act after her husband used violence against her. The latter was arrested by the police. /CNA
