"Christ is Risen!"/ Orthodox believers celebrate Easter today

Christ is Risen! Today Orthodox believers celebrate Easter. At midnight between May 4 and 5, the faithful attended the Mass of the Resurrection of Christ in the Churches and Cathedrals of Albania.

The Archbishop of All Albania, Anastas Janullatos led the mass in the Resurrection Cathedral, with prayers for peace and goodness.

After the mass, with lit candles in their hands, the faithful left to send the light of hope to their homes.

Archbishop Anastas Janullatos has given his message for Easter, emphasizing peace, after the wars that have broken out in the world.

Easter is the biggest celebration of the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian churches that celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
