The Kukës Prosecutor's Office requests the confiscation of the assets of the citizen Sh.H, convicted of distributing narcotics in Italy

The prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës requests the confiscation of the assets of the citizen Sh.H. convicted of distributing the narcotic cocaine in Italy.

This prosecutor's office, on 13.01.2020, registered property reference no. 1, on the basis of the reference materials received from the Tirana Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office, on 14.12.2019, in charge of the citizen Sh.H. According to data from the Interpol Central Office, Tirana is registered with criminal records in Italy.

This citizen was arrested in Italy for distribution of narcotics, cocaine. According to the data recorded in the judicial register of the Republic of Italy for the citizen Sh.H. it turns out that on 06.07.2012 he was convicted for the criminal offense of "illegal possession of narcotics". According to this decision, he was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment and a 4000 euro fine, and then conditional suspension of the sentence according to Article 163 of the Criminal Code.

In the framework of this property proceeding on the request of the prosecutor, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Kukës decided.

1. Acceptance of the request.

2. The imposition of the property insurance measure of sequestration on the real estate in the possession of the citizen Sh.H. on:

a. Property no. 33/13+4-1, Vol. 7, Page 46, with an area of ??78m2, with an address in neighborhood no. 4, registered in the name of Sh. H;

b. Property 33/13+4-4, with an area of ??78 m2, owned by citizens EH, RH and Sh. H;

c. "Mercedez Benz" vehicle, registered in the ownership of citizen FH; AND

d. "Audi A3" vehicle, owned by citizen FH

On April 15, 2024, the prosecuting body submitted to the judge a request for asset confiscation. The case is under trial./ CNA
