Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku have inspected the works in the Llogara tunnel.

It has been reported that the excavations in the tunnel have been completed and it is now open in its width.

According to the Prime Minister and the Minister, thanks to the work done in record time, this project is expected to be completed in June next year.

"The excavations of the Llogara tunnel, which is now open in its entire length, end with an exciting moment for all the teams involved, thanks to the completion of the most difficult process for the construction of this infrastructural work, which will significantly shorten travel time to Ionia, while simultaneously increasing road safety standards. A job done in record time that will now be followed by other processes, until the complete completion of the entire work, hopefully on June 1 of next year", says Rama./ CNA.al
