Member of the DP National Council, activist Aulon Kalaja, spoke this afternoon regarding the opposition protest and his injury.

In a television appearance, Kalaja said that he was hit in the face with a diving suit and that he was sprayed with spray.

Among other things, he said that he lost consciousness when he was hit in the back of the neck again with the spacesuit and that when he woke up, he realized that he was in the Trauma Hospital.

Of all this, the activist considered it strange that he was reported by the police for "assault due to duty."

"At that moment, I tried to pull the Democratic Party MP, Balli, and as far as I could see, they were hitting him. When I pulled him, they hit me in the face with a spacesuit, they threw spray at me from three sides and I felt a kick in my right leg. When I turned my back to leave, I was hit in the back of the neck with a spacesuit.

That was the most difficult moment because I suffocated and fell to the ground. I was unconscious. I didn't remember what happened. I knew I was at the QSUT, but later I found out I was at Trauma.

"What is most strange now is that I am being criminally charged by the police for striking law enforcement officers in the line of duty. There is no way, not even in my background as a journalist and activist, for me to strike law enforcement officers. They are armed and have the necessary equipment ," said Kalaja. /CNA
