Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the welcome he received in France during his visit.

Rama described it as a very strong and special emotion as he went back in time remembering when he had stayed in France as an immigrant.

"The visit was of the highest level that the French protocol contains.

I experienced this fact with pride because I remember that at the beginning of this task, France was unreachable in the history of our relations, there was no state visit. This was the visit that crowned a process. Innovation is the common agenda. We have signed a higher level agreement.

It is a positive deal that we get a lot of experience from French knowledge which is of a high level.

I could have slept under bridges like any immigrant and there is nothing wrong with that, but I did.

I was an immigrant in comfort. I won a scholarship to be at the international art center. After the 2-year period I got a nice apartment in a famous street of Paris, but today was a particularly strong emotion.

The road to Elysse was a return to the 90s, where I used to look at it and admire it together with these buildings that I dreamed of entering", said Rama, in a television interview. / CNA
