Operation in the Aegean / The ship "Butrinti" comes to the aid of 13 migrants

The Ministry of Defense announced that the Naval Force team, part of the NATO mission, has finalized a search and rescue operation, helping 13 immigrants, including 2 children.

The operation, which was carried out in cooperation with the coast guards of Greece and Turkey, ended without any incident.

The ship ???????? “Butrinti” P-134, part of the NATO mission in the Aegean Sea, completed the search and rescue (SAR) operation, assisting 13 migrants, including 2 children. The operation was conducted in close cooperation with the Greek and Turkish Coast Guards, and ended without any incident.

"This is the fourth SAR operation carried out by the Albanian Naval Force in the Aegean during 2025 with 111 lives saved ," the Ministry of Defense announced./ CNA
