68 ha resort in Krorëz/Tomorri: There are many ancient churches, which will

Journalist Klodian Tomorri, invited to MCN TV, has shared details about a resort that is expected to be built in Krorëza Bay in Saranda, with an area of ??about 68 hectares.

Tomorri said that the architecture studio that won the project is one of the companies that has obtained the most building permits in the capital.

The journalist indicated that this project is approximately equal in surface area to the Alabar project in Durrës.

Tomorri said that the territory where the project will be built has cultural monuments that will be demolished.

" Many of the projects when they go to the KKT meeting only have the name of the project and the developer company written, but they do not have its dimensions. When you say a building permit for a tourist resort in the Gulf of Korëza, it could be just a hotel, it could be a complex with a few villas, but it could be a massive complex like the one that has been approved. We could not have known it at that moment, it is not that we knew and passed it by without attention. Now we know after the Italian architecture studio revealed its photos.

As for the studio that has the project in question, it is a company founded in 2016, it is not a company that has a very long history, although it is one of the largest beneficiaries of construction permits in the capital, starting from the famous Blloku tower, to the West Residence building and other projects on Fortuzi Street.

We say 680 m2 of surface area to have as a comparative basis is 68 ha and it is more or less the same as the famous project in surface area of ??Alabar in Durrës. Alabar's is 80 ha. This is 68. No one in Europe will let you do to the coast what we do.

I saw some of those who deal with protected areas who wrote that there are natural and cultural monuments there, there are many ancient churches that will now be demolished and bee hives will be built. It's not that we are the best in tourism in the world. Others know how to do it, but they don't do it because they respect the territory, the environment. There are no criteria, no law here. They are approved by special regulations. A special regulation is a decision taken by the KKT to violate the urban planning law , "said Tomorri./ CNA
