Saturday night was full of excitement and surprises as the biggest European song contest took place in Basel, Switzerland. The final night of Eurovision 2025 declared Austria the winner, with the song “Wasted Love” by Filipino singer JJ. From this contest, Albania secured 8th place in the Grand Final with the song “Zjerm” performed by the duo Shkodra Elektronike. This marks one of the country’s best results in recent years.

What was noticed was the extremely surprising result of the public vote, as Albania received 173 votes and 45 votes from the jury, which brought the total to 218 points.
