Under the charge of 30 murders, the head of Belgrade's criminal gangs is

Russian citizen Igor Kokunov remains in prison. The decision was taken at today's session in the Court of Shkodra. The next session is expected to take place on November 7.

Kokunov is accused of nearly 30 murders in Russia, while he is also described as the head of criminal groups in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

In today's session, his lawyer, Isuf Shehu, said that the prosecutor or the Minister of Justice in Russia should request his extradition.

He emphasized that there is only one criminal offense, for which he is suspected as the head of a criminal group, a provision that, according to the lawyer, is not recognized by Albanian law.

The lawyer stated that asylum was requested in Albania for Kokunov because Russia is an insecure country that violates human rights.

Meanwhile, during his stay in Reçi prison, there was information that Serbian gangs could intervene in his escape. For this reason, the police armored the court in the northern city today./ CNA
