The Special Prosecutor's Office continues with the investigations for the mayor of Këlcyra, Klement Ndoni, after the allegations of vote buying. 

The investigations against Ndoni are being carried out by the prosecutor Olsi Doda and are related to suspicions of election crimes.

It is reported that another citizen was questioned by SPAK investigators, as there are suspicions that she was offered a bribe to vote in favor of the leftist mayor. 

So, last Wednesday he was also denounced by a 75-year-old man, Agim Bakushllari.

The latter claimed that local officials of the municipality of Këlcyre offered economic assistance and employment to the unemployed son in exchange for his family's votes in favor of the socialist candidate for the head of the municipality, Klement Ndoni. 

The elderly man told the investigators that the episode happened in the municipal offices just two days before the local elections.

It turns out that he has been reported to the prosecutor's office before with accusations of abuse of office, in some projects in the city or appointments in the public sector. 

In 2016, he was accused by Bardhi Nunollari, a former convict for drug trafficking who, through public statements, said that he was surprised that a person with whom he had trafficked narcotics was running for the post of mayor. This accusation has been denied by Ndoni./ CNA
