After the sequestration of Jamarbër Malltezi's assets by SPAK, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha explained in an interview to the moderator Erla Mëhilli that the villa and assets placed by Malltezi and his family are in the most dignified way.

As for the villa or other assets seized by SPAK, Berisha said that they were bought before 2004, revealing how these assets were benefited by Malltezi and his wife.

 "That villa and a good part of the assets were all bought before 2004. At the time when they were working in the UN offices. It has nothing to do with any process. The immoral ones hide the documents. The villa was bought in 2004.

They did not start a business at that time and invested in apartments. They are not big but they are constant. They have also seized assets that they created before 2004," Berisha said./ CNA
