Fighting the flames/ A firefighter suffers burns in Përmet

A firefighter in Permet with the initials RS was partially burned on his body and face. The serious incident happened while he was putting out the flames in the villages of Lugar and Grapsh in the Municipality of Dropulli. 

It is reported that the firefighter received second and third degree burns.

To see his condition, the General Director of the Fire Department, Arben Cara, visited the officer in the hospital.

"Fortunately, the extent of the burn is not so severe as to complicate the situation. We are ready to do everything for his recovery, we are ready to take him not only to Tirana, but also to other places if necessary. The fires have caused damage to vegetation and forests, there is no damage to homes. The fires have gone to the Dropulli area and continue to the Muzina neck", he said./ CNA
