The Regulatory Commission in the CEC has not approved the draft decision of the CEC for some procedural deadlines regarding the elections in Himara.

According to the draft decision of the CEC, the candidates will have only 1 week to organize their campaign.

The draft decision was voted with 3 votes in favor and 2 against, but a majority of 4 votes was required to approve it.

During the meeting, there were debates among the members of the Commission.

Member Muharrem Çakaj stated that the 30-day deadline was not respected and called the CEC's decision-making regarding Beler's mandate invalid./ CNA
