SPAK seized the company "5D" with de facto owners Mariglen Qaton and Redi Molla.

Dorjan Teliti, a member of the Tirana Municipal Council, reacted to this development.

According to Telit, the seizures should have been made 8 months ago, considering SPAK's action late.

"Today we are in the month of July, the arrests have taken place since 2023 and it took 7-8 months to seize the properties of those who are already known, it is a well-known fact and from the information that has appeared in the media, the former directors of the municipality in cooperation with each other they had connected an organized structure and I don't believe that it took 8 months to arrest them.

So it didn't take that long to issue a seizure order for any type of property created as a result of this criminal activity.

So I am not only talking about the properties inherited from their parents, we are not talking about properties created in their past but from their activity when they were in leadership positions in the Municipality of Tirana as directors who had relevant delegations and in cooperation with each other, they have taken the initiative to win dozens of tenders over 30 million euros at the expense of Albanian taxpayers.

These seizures should have been made on the same day and time when their arrests were undertaken at the end of November on the 30th/ of 2023," said Teliti./ CNA
