The Central Election Commission decided this Friday to declare Fredi Beler's mandate invalid.

This afternoon, this decision was discussed at the meeting of the Regulatory Commission, where the member of the Commission, Dritan Çaka, stated that the 30-day deadline for the procedures was not respected, stressing that it is one of the guarantees of the rule of law.

Among other things, he emphasized that he cannot be punished or judged without a final decision.

"The 30-day deadline, one of the most important guarantees of the rule of law, has not been respected. No one can be sentenced or judged without a final decision. I do not find anywhere that the decision of the CEC constitutes an executive title", said Çaka./ CNA
