Under the argument that the measures taken against Berisha are unconstitutional since SPAK has bypassed the Assembly to obtain permission for the measure against the former prime minister, as the latter is a deputy and enjoys immunity, Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, has requested the removal of the security measure against Berisha.

Journalist Klodiana Lala has stated that after the allegations were raised by the lawyer, the session was interrupted.

For nearly two hours, Sali Berisha's lawyer Genci Gjokuataj listed all the legal arguments in the GJKKO Appeal, claiming that the measures against the former prime minister should be removed and that they are unconstitutional.

Gjokutaj has said that he has no criminal offense and that there is no reason for him to be detained and there is no risk that he will go abroad.

The court has decided to adjourn the session for a few minutes, while it is expected to resume again./ CNA
