Alienation of properties in Shengjin/SPAK requires 4 years of prison for Fran

The Special Prosecutor's Office has requested 4 years in prison for the former mayor of Lezha Municipality, Fran Frrokaj.

Frrokaj is accused of abuse of office for the issue of alienation of properties on the coast of Shengjin.

From the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office, it has been found that the former mayor has illegally benefited from 66,000 square meters of land worth 13 million euros.

Also, for this matter, investigations have been launched against the former head of the District, Gjok Ndoka, the former director of Urban Planning of Lezha, Sokol Toma, the former lawyer at the Local Office of Real Estate Registration in Lezha, Bledar Cara, the former registrar in the Cadastre of Lezha, Nikolin Shtjefni and Sokol Vocaj, the beneficiaries of the alienated properties, Altin Mlikaj, the surveyor Luigj Paloka, as well as to the former officials of the municipality of Lezha, Gjovalin Marku, Adiona Martini and Juxhina Mema./ CNA
