Power outage at QSUT/ Director of Services: The only problem is the lack of

A power outage was recorded on Monday evening, around 20:20, at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, as a result of a breakdown in the 110 kV high-voltage line of the substation that supplies the QSUT.

The Director of Support Services at the QSUT, Erjon Ngjelo, announced that immediately after the outage, all generators supplying the hospital buildings were activated and there were no problems in the functioning of vital services.

According to him, the generator of building A1 has also been turned on, but the panel of this building has detected a technical failure, which has prevented the normal transmission of electricity.

For this reason, standby technicians have notified the Energy Distribution Operator to put the second supply line of the QSUT into operation.

statement

On Monday, at around 20:20, due to a breakdown in the 110 kV high-voltage line of the "Traktora" Substation, which also supplies the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, we had a power outage.

All generators supplying the hospital buildings were activated and there were no problems in the buildings. The generator of building A1 was also turned on, but the panel of this building detected a failure. As a result of this failure, it was not possible to transmit power to the building.

Immediately, the standby technicians, who were dealing with repairing the problem, notified the Energy Distribution Operator to introduce the second line that supplies the QSUT. This line also came with improper technical parameters.

The Distribution Operator was contacted again to bring the main line in. Within minutes of the main line arriving, the standby technicians restored the entire system to working order. The only problem in building A1 was the lack of lighting. However, it should be noted that all the life-saving equipment located in the central resuscitation room was functioning, their backup system, and at no time was the patient's safety compromised.
