The head of the Public Procurement Commission, Jonaid Myzyri, appeared before SPAK today. Myzyri is being held as a defendant for violating equality in public tenders and auctions.
Myzyri was suspended from duty on October 5, 2025 by the Special Court, but was reinstated three months later, on June 30, the day he was also informed of the charges by SPAK.
The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime is investigating tenders held during the years 2020-2023, where it is suspected that the procedures were carried out without fair competition./ CNA
