The Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro, showed the figures of tourists who visited Albania until the end of August.

She said in a television appearance that 7.2 million tourists have entered our country.

The minister revealed that tourism continues with increasing trends, as there are reservations until October.

"Let's start with the numbers until August 31, we registered 7.2 million foreign visitors. In 2022, which had high numbers, we recorded 7.5 million visitors throughout the year. In the next month we will have an increase. I have never made a competition or objectives related to numbers, from what my colleagues from the private tourism sector refer to, bookings continue until the end of October at least. Last year showed us that tourism was also in November and December", emphasized Kumbaro./ CNA
