Businessman Pëllumb Gjoka was arrested in July of this year, after the analysis of conversations in the "Sky" application by SPAK.

Gjoka is charged not only with cooperation with criminal groups and ordering murders, but also with property embezzlement.

Gjoka was denounced by his cousin for robbing the land of 99-year-old Drande Hota in the village of Pulaj in Velipoja.

According to the investigative file of the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, disclosed in Klodiana Lala's show, this event originated in 2012.

Lule Zefi, the daughter of the 99-year-old denounced the citizen Ardian Beci, the latter the first cousin from the mother of the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka.

Beci appeared in Lezhë near the notary Valbona Hajdari with a special power of attorney from Drande Hotaj for the land with an area of ??39 hectares in Velipojë.

With that power of attorney, he claimed that the elderly woman had given her consent to perform the notarial actions, so that the land would pass to her brother's son, Pëllumb Gjoka.

But Drande Hotaj's daughter declares that such a thing is not true, as she points out that her mother was not capable of performing any procedural action due to her age, as well as because she could neither write nor sing.

For this reason, she filed a report for falsification of documents against the notary who performed the actions.

According to the file, Lule Zefi had received threats, even an attempt to physically eliminate her, but this did not stop her in her battle for justice.

She made a series of allegations over the years, one after the other being dismissed. The reports of the elderly woman's daughter were closed in 2021 by prosecutor Xhevahir Lita, the latter a friend of the businessman./ CNA
