With 73 votes in favor, the law for medical students was approved in the plenary session of this Thursday.
1 deputy abstained on this law, while there was no vote against.
The approval was made without the votes of the opposition, which abandoned the plenary session, in respect of the day of mourning for Gerti Bogdan, the former DP deputy who died after a cardiac arrest.
With the new changes, medical students are forced to work in Albania for 3 years, after completing their studies.
Students who are currently in their second, third and fourth year are obliged to work in Albania for 2 years and those who are in their fifth and sixth year only one year./ CNA
