Mediu's message after the testimony in SPAK

After testifying at SPAK about the "Gërdeci" file, the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, emphasized that the whole process shows that he did nothing but follow the law.

The former minister emphasized that it would be good for everyone mentioned in the file to tell the truth, as they did. 

"This process shows that the Minister of Defense has done nothing but implement the law. I don't know if Luan Hoxha will testify, I hope that everyone will come to testify and speak. In the inertia of clarifying the truth, he should maintain his position as he thinks and as he has acted," said Mediu.

Mediu is accused by SPAK of two criminal offenses: "Abuse of duty", carried out in cooperation, as well as "Abuse of duty" in cooperation with a military subject, provided for by the Criminal Code and the Military Criminal Code.

In the Gërdec tragedy that happened on March 15, 2008, 25 people lost their lives. /CNA
