The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, arrived on Wednesday morning at the "Mother Teresa" airport to inspect the immigrant centers being built by the Italian government in the Albanian territory.

The Prime Minister of Italy, together with the Albanian Prime Minister, will today visit the area of ??Gjadri in Lezhë, which is covered by the Italy-Albania cooperation protocol on migration issues.

Then, at 12:00, the Rama-Meloni conference will be held at the reception center in Shengjin.

According to the agreement, the landing port will be Shengjini, where the first center will be set up that will serve for the identification and registration of refugees, while Gjadri will be the camp for their accommodation while waiting for answers to asylum requests.

The reception center will have a capacity of 3,000 places, while at the end of the evaluation procedures, the Italian authorities will remove the immigrants from the Albanian territory at their own expense./ CNA
