The American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, has made a reaction regarding the approval in the Assembly of the Butrint Management Agreement.

Through a status on social networks, Yuri Kim says that it is a fact that the Albanian-American Foundation for Development has never been used for profit or exploitation.

"FACT: It was never for profit or exploitation. AADF was established in 2009 with the support of USAID to develop the private sector and sustainable democracy in Albania. Since then, AADF has allocated $100 million+ to 70+ projects in Albania, creating 6,000+ jobs and attracting $300 million+ from other investors," says the American ambassador.
