Since the 1900s, the global population has only been increasing, with countries like China or India representing the highest growth.

Researchers expect the next wave of population growth to hit Africa, where in 2019, the average woman in Niger had 6 children.

According to UN data, these are countries that are depopulating at the fastest rate.

Data has been accumulated to project changes from 2020 – 2050.

Many of these countries are located in Eastern Europe, and unfortunately Albania is among them.
