"Lifetime mandate for Skënder Gjinush"/ Fuga: Putsch in structured cooperation

The mandate for the president of the Academy of Sciences, Skënder Gjinushi, has ignited a wide debate in the academic and political opinion.

Academician Artan Fuga also considers the initiative to give lifelong mandate to the president of the Academy of Sciences, Skënder Gjinushi, a clearly structured coup.

"Here's the coup! Not one, but several, in clearly structured cooperation!", writes Fuga on social networks.

The Academy of Sciences of Albania has informed through an official announcement that the term of office of the head of the Academy has ended and the elections for the new head will be held after the holidays, while the elections for new members of the Presidency always take place at the end of the year./ CNA
