The car in which the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, drives, results in unpaid fines for 3 years.

After the publication of this fact in the media, Balla himself reacted, stating that he drew attention to the structures of the State Police that allowed the accumulation of fines.

Through a status on social networks, he says that it is a pity that the names of the ministers are mentioned in the media, as he emphasizes that they do not drive the cars themselves.

Balla emphasizes that the State Police is to blame for this, as the Government has made it clear that traffic rules should not be violated even by officials.

" Today I drew attention to the structures of the State Police for allowing the accumulation of fines for violations of traffic rules by the vehicle of the Minister of the Interior!

The standard set by Prime Minister Rama on the first day of his assumption of office was clear. The prime minister's escort first and then all other official vehicles of ministers, deputies and so on, cannot violate traffic rules except in cases of duty-related emergencies. That standard put an end to the spectacles of the strong on the streets of Tirana city morning, lunch, dinner with sirens and crossing traffic lights, of the aforementioned categories.

It is unfortunate, because among other things, ministers do not drive their own cars and there is no reason for their names to be mentioned on portals or TV (as happened today with my predecessor who just left office) because the State Police does not execute decisions of the corresponding fines!
