Photos-High temperatures "try" Albanians and tourists, how are the citizens spending the hot days

The African anticyclone seems that this summer our country will record the highest temperatures it has ever experienced.

According to the Military Meteorological Service, the most extreme temperatures that are expected to affect our country this week are 42-43 degrees Celsius.

These figures are high for a country with a stable and mild climate like Albania, but they are minimal compared to most of Europe where temperatures reach up to 50 degrees Celsius.

The closest example of this situation is our neighboring country, Italy.

The extreme weather has reduced to the maximum the unnecessary movements of citizens in Tirana, but due to the massive attendance of our country by tourists, this summer, the Albanian capital cannot be deserted.

In many places of the capital city, the Municipality of Tirana has placed some refreshing structures where passers-by can cool off.

In every shadowy corner you find Albanians and foreign tourists trying to escape the sun's rays.
