On Tuesday, the Court of Appeal upheld the security measure "prison arrest" against 20-year-old Ermes Hoxhalli from Devolli, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Computer forgery" and "Forgery of documents", provided for by Article 186 /1 and 186/2 of the Criminal Code.

After a six-month investigation, by a special investigative group, it was discovered how the young man defrauded educational institutions, with the so-called "Let's talk together about US 23" and "Let's talk together about US 24" projects.

The programs promised students and teachers free trips to the United States.

The 20-year-old had created a false identity, engaging with officials of the Ministry of Education and other educational institutions throughout Albania. Hundreds of students, teachers and education officials throughout Albania participated in these fraudulent programs./CNA
