Lala: Veliaj is being investigated for laundering proceeds of crime

Journalist Klodiana Lala revealed tonight details from the investigations of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

Lala said in the show "The Unexposed" that Veliaj is being investigated for the crime of laundering the proceeds of crime.

She emphasized that there are reasonable suspicions that money laundering has taken place.

A few days ago, a letter from the SPAK prosecutor was leaked to the media, asking the banks for information about the finances of Erion Veliaj and his family members. 

"A few minutes ago, an officer of BKH officially confirmed to me that the criminal case we discussed has started for the criminal offense of laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense. So there are reasonable suspicions that money laundering has taken place.

This does not start an administrative investigation, but it is a criminal case that starts the investigation in the beginning. You said they are some random directors, they are three right-wings of Veliaj.
