The Assembly meets in plenary session today, here are the agenda items

The Parliament of Albania will meet today, March 5, 2026, at 10:00, in plenary session, according to order no. 16, dated March 3, 2026, issued in support of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament and the calendar of proceedings for the period March 2–20.

The session is expected to begin with the approval of the minutes of the plenary meeting of March 2, 2026, as well as various parliamentary announcements.

Following the agenda, two question-and-answer sessions are scheduled. MP Erion Braçe will hold a question-and-answer session with the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, and another with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla.

Several draft laws will also be reviewed during the session. Among them is the draft law on an amendment to the law "On the pre-university education system in the Republic of Albania", as amended.

The deputies will also discuss the draft law for the ratification of the loan agreement between the Republic of Albania, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and KfW Frankfurt am Main, for the "Municipal Infrastructure V - Phase II" program.

Also on the agenda is the draft law "On the Agency for Supervision of the System of Execution of Criminal Decisions", as well as the draft law on some amendments and additions to the law "On State Control of International Transfers of Military Goods and Dual-Use Items and Technologies".

The Assembly will also consider an amendment to the law "On National Taxes" and an amendment to the law "On Local Self-Government Finances".

A draft decision for an addition to decision no. 65/2025, regarding the appointment of substitute members to the composition of the permanent committees of the Assembly, will also be presented at the session.

The session is expected to conclude with discussions on issues outside the agenda./ CNA
