Another success story. Albanian Laert Sallaku, only 23 years old, from Albania, graduated as a police officer in New York with an average of 9.96%, the highest among all students.

He was able to come out first among 600 newly graduated officers in the United States of America. The Mayor of New York, Eric Adams, honored the Albanian with an award.

“My journey to becoming a New York officer began about 6 years ago when I immigrated to New York at the age of 17 from Albania, a small country from Eastern Europe. As a young immigrant, I was faced with the diversity and comprehensive character of the city where I immediately felt accepted and that I belonged here", said Sallaku, during the ceremony.
