Commission of Inquiry on Health

The members of the majority in the Investigative Commission for Public Sterilization Services and "Check up" in Health, through an official letter, invite the representatives of the opposition in this commission to conduct joint visits to the institutions implementing the contracts that are the subject of the parliamentary investigation.

The letter for taking measures is addressed to the Secretary General of the Assembly, Genc Gjonçaj, and the head of the Investigative Commission, Albana Vokshi. Attached to the letter is the program of visits with the respective locations and dates.

"Reiterating once again the will of the majority in the Parliamentary Investigative Committee, to implement the decision of the Assembly dated 21.03.2024, in implementation of the Investigation Plan approved at the meeting dated 25.04.2024 and the associated calendar, in the members of commission, we have planned visits to the state institutions benefiting from the two contracts that are the subject of the parliamentary investigation, as well as the possible interviewing of the respective leaders, according to the associated program", the letter of the majority members states, among other things.

 

Following the document officially submitted to the Assembly, the majority deputies emphasize that "through this announcement we not only aim to inform colleagues in the committee and invite them to join you in visits and interviews in the relevant institutions, but also to inform the structures administrative departments of the Assembly to take logistical, administrative and financial measures for the movement of deputies as well as for the evidence and documentation of these visits and interviews in these institutions"

Referring to the calendar, the visits are planned to take place in Tirana and other cities of the country, in the centers and institutions that are implementing concessional contracts for sterilization and basic medical control./ CNA
