The high representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, did not even give a statement to the media during the meeting with the NATO Foreign Ministers.
He said that the Western Balkans were also discussed in the session.
According to him, the Western Balkans is very important for the European Union. He also stated that they will continue to ensure stability and security in Kosovo and on the border with Serbia.
"In this session we talked about the Western Balkans. You know how important the Western Balkans is for the European Union, many members of the bloc are committed to stability in this region and many states of this region are candidates.
Their stability, prosperity and adaptation to foreign policy is very important to us. Let me emphasize the importance of cooperation between the EU and NATO in the north of Kosovo. Our EULEX mission is positioned and has a strong cooperation with KFOR and they are facing difficult moments. We will continue to ensure stability and security in this part of Kosovo and on the border with Serbia," Borrell told reporters. / CNA
