Parade on the Martyrs of the Nation boulevard

Today Albanians celebrate the 111th anniversary of Independence. Albanians from all over the world came to their homeland today to participate in the parade that took place on the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation". 

With flags and patriotic clothes, the Albanians celebrated today this marked day. 150 delegations from Albania and the diaspora gathered today in Tirana for the parade. 

An official ceremony took place today in Vlora for the raising of the flag, attended by the President of the country Bajram Begaj, Prime Ministers Edi Rama and Albin Kurti, Speaker of the Parliament Lindita Nikolla and a number of other officials.

Prime Minister Sali Berisha also became part of the ceremony a few minutes later, who said that he did not have an invitation to join the official ceremony with Rama and Kurti. /CNA
