Chaos on the Librazhd - Elbasan axis/ Cars queue up for kilometers, the police

A chaotic situation has been created on the road axis Librazhd - Elbasan.

A traffic light has been placed near the Murrashi bridge to regulate vehicle traffic due to the works, which occasionally causes heavy traffic.

Such a situation, with a kilometer queue, was also recorded this evening.

As can be seen from the CNA footage, commuters returning from the southeast are forced to wait for a long time to cross to the other side of the bridge.

The cars returning from Korça have created a long caravan of 10-15 kilometers, while the vehicles moving from Elbasan towards the southeast are much less.

The semaphore has been installed to regulate movements during the day, when there is flow on both road segments, but now there is a long queue because one axis has flow and the other is empty.

However, drivers who are headed to Elbasan or Tirana are forced to stay in traffic in order not to violate traffic rules.

All this happens because there is a policeman missing from the Murrashi bridge. No employee of the traffic police, the municipality, the road company or the company that is building the road to serve the citizens goes there, so as not to block traffic.
