The services of the Mallakastër Police Station immediately after receiving the notification that 2 citizens were presented to the Ballshi hospital for treatment, injured with a cutting tool (knife), went and made contact with the injured citizens.

The Police Services have accompanied citizens EP, 28 years old, and JP, 26 years old (brothers), both residents of Ballsh, to the Mallakastër Police Station, to give a statement on the incident. The two brothers have stated that they had a conflict with each other while hiding the incident.

Based on the contradictory statements of the two brothers, the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Mallakastër Police Station, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, deepened the investigations and as a result made it possible to unravel the incident.

As a result of the investigations carried out, it was found that these citizens were injured with a cutting tool (knife), for weak motives, by the AB citizen, 76 years old, resident in Ballsh, (their neighbor).

At the end of the investigations, the citizens EP, 28 years old, and JP, 26 years old, were arrested for the criminal offense "False statement before the judicial police officer", and the citizen AB, 76 years old, for the criminal offense "Deliberate murder", and left in the attempt.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution for further actions./ CNA
