Ilir Beqaj again in SPAK/ "Kyç gojn" in front of journalists

The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, went to SPAK this Friday.

It is learned that he Beqaj has presented himself to the BKH officers, in implementation of the security measure "obligation to appear".

The former minister refused to speak to the media and remained silent.

Against the former minister, the measures "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country" have been imposed, for the charge of "abuse of duty". Beqaj is under investigation for the concession of sterilization of surgical equipment.

Former Deputy Minister of Health, Klodjan Rrjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj were arrested for this matter. They are under investigation for "abuse of duty" and "forgery of documents". Both are in the cell while the court rejected their request for freedom.

Earlier, in August of this year, the Special Court asked the prosecution to extend the investigations to the responsibility of six other people, including the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj./  CNA
