Lottery is drawn/ 9 members of the KED are selected for 2026

The Presidency today held a draw to select the members of the Judicial Appointments Council.

The elected, permanent and alternate members will serve on the KED for the year 2026.

Supreme Court judge Ilir Panda was elected Chairman of the KED.

 

The elected permanent members are:

Fiona Papajorgji - permanent member from the Constitutional Court for representation in the KED

Marjana Semini - permanent member from the Constitutional Court for representation in the KED

Ilir Panda - representative of the Supreme Court, elected member of the KED and also chairman

Alfred Progonati - member of KED, as representative of the General Prosecutor's Office.

Ornela Naqellari - permanent member, representative of the Courts of Appeal in the KED

Iliriana Olldashi - permanent member, representative of the Courts of Appeal in the KED

Altin Binaj - permanent member, representative of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction at the KED

Afërdita Ndoj - permanent member, representative of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction at the KED

Klodiana Veizi - permanent member of KED, representative from the Administrative Court

 

The elected alternate members are:

 

Bezart Kaçkini - substitute member of the KED, representative from the Administrative Court

Arben Qosja - substitute member, representative of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction at the KED

Selvie Gjoçaj - substitute member, representative of the Courts of Appeal in the KED

Anila Leka - substitute member of the KED, as representative of the General Prosecutor's Office

Valbon Çekrezi - member of the Supreme Court, elected substitute member of the KED

Gent Ibrahimi - substitute member from the Constitutional Court for representation in the KED/CNA
