Investigations into the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj/Lamallari: I cannot comment, the prosecution makes the assessments

Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari was also asked at the press conference about the case of Evis Martinaj, whose father appeared before the Special Court a few days ago.

Lamallari said he cannot comment on this issue as it would involve a political figure.

Focusing on the investigations conducted, Lamallari said that their evaluation is made only by the prosecutor of the case and it is the prosecution that determines the deadlines for the investigations.

" I cannot comment as it would involve the involvement of a political figure. The evaluation of the investigations carried out by the police is done only by the prosecutor. There can be no comment from my side on the event and the deadlines, they are determined by the prosecutor ," said Lamallari.
